Bill Laswell präsentiert in Zusammenarbeit mit dem verstorbenen deutschen Musiker Pete Namlook die "Outland"-Albumserie, die nun als limitierte 6-CD-Box auf Cold Spring Records erscheint. Diese Sammlung ist ein Meisterwerk der dunklen Ambient- und Elektronikmusik, das die Grenzen dieser Genres neu definiert. Die Box enthält die fünf ursprünglichen "Outland"-Alben, die in separaten matten Hüllen mit komplett neu gestalteten Designs und vollständig neu gemastertem Ton präsentiert werden. Ein besonderes Highlight ist die neue Addition zur Serie, "Blackland", ein Album voller dichter, basslastiger Space-Drone-Kompositionen, die von Bill Laswell selbst stammen.
Die "Outland"-Serie ist bekannt für ihre einflussreichen Soundlandschaften und ihre tiefgründige musikalische Ausdruckskraft.
